I don’t know whether any of you have heard the rather disturbing news this week from a Brazilian environment group… but the powers above have recommended that people should wee in the shower, in an attempt to conserve energy and water supplies!!!

To encourage people to do just that, they’ve launched a TV ad featuring everyone from Ghandi to the Statue of Liberty relieving themselves behind the shower curtain!

Apparently, it will save over 4,380 litres of water annually per household, and saving scarce resources can only be a good thing… right?

Well if like me, this idea doesn’t exactly get you jumping into the shower every time you need to go; then don’t worry! We here at Gettingpersonal have fun and unusual gift alternatives to keep you eco-friendly and safe from undesirable ‘green’ suggestions like the one above!

For example…

Our Amazing Sun Jar!

Said to give out better light than the common desk lamp, our Sun Jar is an amazing little jar of sunshine that lights up all year round!

Free Energy... and its good for the environment!

Don’t know about you bloggers, but this is more my idea of energy conservation (and it looks pretty!)

Hope you all have a fun weekend!
