We’ve long been fans of the Slanket – and judging by how many we’ve sold it seems that a lot of you are too! Well, we’ve now gone one better because the double slanket is now in stock on our website!

I’ve got that Friday feeling… cannot wait to let my hair down tonight and then relax all weekend long – Saturday morning lie-in YES PLEASE!

The only problem working for a company like GettingPersonal, is on the weekends I usually spend a bit of time clicking around the site for things that might be kinda fun to give as gifts to my friends… and i end up spending all my wage on cool gifts!!!

This weekend I bought a lot of stuff… and I thought I’d explain why!

You See Doctor, I’ve Been Feeling Kind of Rotten…

No it wasn’t Swine flu, but i was feeling a little under the weather… and i don’t know about you but when i feel a little bit sniffly i like to curl up on the sofa in my snugly Slanket, surround myself with my favourite treats and feel sorry for myself…

So I Decided What I Needed Was… Chocolate!

Having been at work in the week and noticing the Chocoholics Pizza, i knew that was going to make me feel better (and let me tell you it was possibly the most scrumptious treat I’ve ever eaten!)

Yes, it was a naughty indulgence but it did make me feel better!

The moral of this tale is this: When you are ill, treat yourself to gifts and you’ll feel better in no time!

So next time you are feeling a little poorly, i suggest you try it :-)
