Last Thursday, our lovely Affiliate Manager Selina accompanied by Charlotte set up a stand at the Unwrapped 2011 event run by Affiliate Window in London.

Here at GettingPersonal.co.uk, we run a great Affiliate campaign using the Affiliate Window network and it was great to meet some of our wonderful affiliates who help make our campaign so successful.

Of course we came armed with all sorts of treats and gifts to show off to the attendees and managed to bribe a few to talk to us by handing round a few slices of Chocolate Pizza – (always a winner!)

The first is our new Marketing Director; Hilary Large, who has joined to head up the Marketing Team.

Origanlly from Stoke-On-Trent, Hil now lives on The Wirral with her lovely husband Graham and their two gorgeous little girls. Her previous positions were held with the likes of Shop Direct and Joe Browns before joining us in the wonderful world of personalised gifts here at GP.

As well as a wealth of marketing knowledge and expertise, she brings with her an extensive collection of shoes and handbags that are certainly raising the fashion stakes in our lovely warehouse!! Hard core dance music helps her concentrate, Grazia is her fashion bible and she’s never without a Diet Coke, whatever time of the day it is..

We’ve left our lovely little warehouse that served us so well over the years to something much bigger and better, just round the corner in Wythensahwe, Manchester.

So, on a cold October weekend just a few weeks ago, we all packed up our beloved portacabins that we’d grown so fond of,  and moved everything a mile down the road to our brand new, super cool office pods and our huge new warehouse!

At £98.95, our 8 to 10 hour Ghost Hunting Experience Day includes a psychic workshop, ghost hunting kit demonstration, ghost/history walk, a night time vigil and then finally a post investigation discussion.

You will be shown the tools of the ghost hunter’s trade, and each team will receive an equipment pack to record your findings throughout the evening. On the ghost walk the Medium, who will have no prior knowledge of the property, will give out information on the energies they feel. A local Historian will try to validate the information given with what they know about the property. In small teams led by an experienced member of staff, you will move around various hot spots at the property, recording findings using your investigation pack.

Far too scary for most of us in the office to even consider, however for those paranormal thrill-seekers out there this may be just the ticket.

If you really want to push the boat out though, then our Ghost Hunting Break for Two is for you – at £394.95, this package includes an overnight stay for two people, with a three course evening meal (and wine!) and breakfast the following day. You will typically be able to check in to your chosen hotel between 3pm – 6pm, with the investigation starting at 7pm.
