Back in December it was announced that we were placed once again in the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table – a very prestigious league that ranks the fastest growing private companies in the country.

The award ceremony for the Fast Track Awards was held last week at non other than Sir Richard Branson’s House in Oxfordshire and our fabulous co-founders John Smith and Giles Harridge attended the glamorous event.

Not only were they celebrating being ranked in the Fast Track table, they also managed to pick up the Royal Mail Award for the Best in Customer Service which was an absolute honor to receive.

We at GP have always prided ourselves on our excellent customer service but to be given such a prestigious award is a fantastic achievement for Louise and her brilliant team and we’re very very proud of them.

GettingPersonal.co.uk achieved 12th place in this prestigious league table and so to celebrate, John and Giles were whisked away to rub shoulders with the other winners, and of course with Sir Richard himself!

Unfortunately no offer to accompany Sir Richard to his beautiful Necker Island was made – (we did have our fingers crossed!!) but after a fun filled day of networking, awards, eating, drinking and a chairty auction, John and Giles returned home feeling very proud of their fabulous achievements and the whole team at GettingPersonal.co.uk!

We’re absolutely delighted to have been included in this year’s Sunday Times Fast Track 100 – and at number 12 no less!

The Fast Track listing commended our 149% annual sales growth, since we were founded in 2005. Sir Richard Branson of Virgin, which has sponsored the league table for all 13 years, commented:

“The last year has been one of the toughest I remember in business; but the fear of the early part of 2009 has been replaced by optimism we will find a way through. This sense of optimism is reflected in the sterling performance of the Fast Track 100 companies who are expecting impressive continued growth this year.”

Well said Richard – it’s been an incredible few years for us so it’s wonderful to have this kind of recognition!

A total of 14 companies in the Northwest region – compared with just 8 last year – are on this year’s list, putting us at number 3 in the region.
