Goodbye 2011, Hello 2012
Posted on December 28, 2011 by Lynette
Christmas has been and gone for another year and now all that remains is the turkey leftovers (yes, still!) and the pile of presents we’ve yet to find space for! However, we’re all still in the holiday mood with most of us still off work, sat watching the Christmas films on the telly and stuffing our faces with chocolates. It’s now time to get those New Year’s Eve plans in to action and look forward to welcoming 2012 in with a bang.
Of course, we all celebrate New Year’s Eve in different ways; most of us like to attend a party with our family and friends, some like to head out in to town and dance the night away and others enjoy spending it in the warmth of their own home, watching the television and joining in with those annual quizzes of the year (who can really remember what happened in January?!) So, how will you be celebrating the New Year? Whether you have decided how you’ll be welcoming 2012 in or not, we have some ideas to make sure your New Year’s Eve is unforgettable…
Firstly, you’ll need something to toast the New Year in at the stroke of midnight and what better way than with some Personalised Champagne! Crack open a bottle personalised to you, your friends or your family with the New Year, 2012 on the label. Start off the New Year in style and the way you mean it to go on!
Next, you can’t go in to 2012 without a calendar and we have the perfect one for all the family. The Personalised ‘Our Family’ Calendar lets you create 13 unique and stunning images for the front cover and each month with up to six family names. So, why not turn over each month of 2012 with all the names of your nearest and dearest for all to see, including fireworks in January, Easter Eggs in April and stockings in December – fitting in with every occasion of the year.
Finally, has 2011 not been your year? Will you be glad to see the back of it? Then why not try and change your luck in 2012 with our Good Luck Gift Set. Included in this unique gift set are all the lucky charms you’ll ever need! With a guide to luck charms booklet, a Celtic Four Leaf Clover, Chinese Feng-Shui coins, Lucky Gem stones, Guardian Angel and a Lucky Horseshoe key ring; you’ll be certain to have a lucky year in 2012 if the old folk tales are anything to go by.
Whatever way you choose to spend the New Year, we at GettingPersonal.co.uk hope you all have a good one and see 2011 off with a bang and look forward to seeing what 2012 has in store. “For auld lang syne, my dear, for auld lang syne, we’ll tak a cup o’ kindness yet, for auld lang syne…”
