David Bailey, our lovely Head of Web Experience is our first GettingPersonal employee to share his Christmas Picks of the Week with us, picking out his top Christmas gifts from the site and telling us what he’s hoping Santa will bring him this year..

Here’s a snap of him all dressed up in his festive gear…it took a little bit of persuading but we think he suits a bit of Christmas sparkle!!

So Dave, tell us a little bit about what you get up to at GP?

“As Head of Web Experience here at GettingPersonal.co.uk, it’s my job to look after all the pages on the site and make them look appealing to our customers. I also design many of the marketing promotions and newsletters that land in your inboxes each week.”

So whilst you’ve been busy making the site look pretty, have there been any Christmas gifts that have caught your eye this year?

“Well as an avid Man City supporter (hence the blue t-shirt..and tinsel above!!) I would love someone to give me the Personalised Football Book this Christmas. It’s a great gift idea for guys when you’re really stuck on what to buy them and includes a 100 year history of their favourite club. Apart from the lack of winning a trophy for 35 years, I’m sure it will be a great read!”

Good choice Dave! And how about something for your friends or family?

“Well if I was looking for my girlfriend, I’d probably pick her out a few fun Christmas gifts like the One Million Pound Note. She’s always dreaming of all the shoes and handbags I could buy her if I won the lottery so this would tell her that she better start saving!!
