Happy St George’s Day!

Happy St George’s Day everybody!
Today is the day the country comes together to celebrate all that is great about England.
Amongst all the patriotism and celebrations, we’ve taken a little time out to sit back and reflect on what makes the English, so very English?!..take a look at our Top 3 ‘Englishisms’…
1. Drinking Tea – When life feels a little strained and you start to feel sorry for yourself, grabbing the kettle always seems like the perfect solution..everything seems so much better after a good cuppa.
2. Talking about the weather – Come rain or shine, whatever the weather decides to do, we always have a comment about it, or rather; a moan about it. If it’s raining – we moan, if it’s too hot – we moan and if it dares to snow – we moan even more and the whole country comes to a complete stand still.
3. Moaning - it probably comes as no suprise that number three in trying to define the top Englishisms is our obsession with moaning and groaning about almost anything and everything! Of course the weather is a typical culprit of a good old moan, along with being too hot, being too cold, and well… the weather in general!!
Despite our moans and groans and our weird obsession about the weather, most of us are very proud to be English and are very loyal to this great country of ours! So take the time today to celebrate and cherish all that is so typically English, and have a happy St. George’s Day!

Football – where ever you go around England, people will be talking about football…from the National team, to the PL, to the lower leagues and Sunday football and even having a kick around with jumpers for goalposts – football is one thing which most people have a view on, even if its “I dont like football!”. Roll on the world cup…

Moaning that, once again, we`ve been knocked out of a football tournament on penalties…and then blaming the manager!
